What is Drop-shipping?
Drop-shipping simply means
marketing supplier goods in your store. It is a supply chain in which the
retailer earns a commission by transferring customer’s orders and shipment
details to the supplier, who after ward sends the product directly to the
customer.
While the retailer goes about
marketing the products on his e-store, the product remains in the supplier's
warehouse until it gets a buyer. When an order is placed for the product, the
retailer automatically sends the customer’s order to the supplier who delivers
the goods directly to the retailer’s customer.
The retailer benefits from
selling the products to his customer .This means he never get to see or touch the
products. He doesn’t have any inventory, warehouse and no office space.
Do you consider starting up a
drops-hipping business in Nigeria? It’s really easy to get started. The only
thing you need to do is to place products from import portals on you e-store
and let customers receive the ordered products directly from the supplier to
their desire destination.
How Does Drop-Shipping Practically Works
For instance, Barnabas Stanley log into an import
portal like AliExpess and got a product at a prices of $10 then places it on
his e-store or physically convince his customer to buy the product at $20.
Successfully, if the customer agrees and orders the
product from Stanley, the customer then pays him $20 for the order. Stanley
will now transfer his customer’s order to the supplier at $10.
The supplier will now deliver the product at the
customer’s destination.
Wow, Stanley will definitely make a profit of $10.
That’s a lucrative business, isn’t it?
